Community Guidelines

Last updated: May 2026

BeSocialz exists for real, respectful, in-person connection. These guidelines describe how we expect everyone to behave — both inside the app and at offline meetups. Following them is what makes the platform feel safe, warm, and worth being part of.

01

Be Real

Use your real name. Use a current photo of yourself. Write a bio that reflects who you actually are. Authenticity is what makes real connection possible — and what protects others from feeling deceived.

Don't impersonate others, use stock photos, or create fake profiles.

02

Be Respectful

Treat every member with kindness, regardless of background, identity, gender, religion, age, ability, or beliefs.

Not tolerated, ever:

  • Hate speech, slurs, or derogatory language
  • Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks
  • Discrimination of any kind
  • Sexual harassment, unwanted advances, or inappropriate messages
  • Threats of any kind — physical, emotional, financial
03

Be Safe — Online & Offline

Online

Be cautious sharing personal information (home address, financial details, identity documents) — especially early in conversations.

Offline meetups

🛡 Safety checklist

Before any in-person meeting

  • Meet in public. Cafés, co-working spaces, parks. Skip private residences first time.
  • Tell a friend. Share where you're going, who you're meeting, and when you'll be back.
  • Plan your own ride. Don't rely on someone you just met.
  • Limit alcohol or substances. Stay aware of your surroundings.
  • Trust your gut. If anything feels off, leave. You don't need permission.
  • Report concerns. If a member behaves inappropriately, report them in-app.
04

No Spam, No Hustle

BeSocialz is for genuine connection, not marketing or recruitment. Don't:

  • Post promotional content in unrelated clubs
  • DM members with sales pitches
  • Use the platform for MLM/network-marketing recruitment
  • Spam-create events or repeated posts

Brands and businesses interested in partnering with BeSocialz can email team@besocialz.com.

05

No Adult or Inappropriate Content

BeSocialz is not a dating app and not an adult content platform. The following are prohibited anywhere on the platform:

  • Sexual or pornographic content (photos, videos, descriptions)
  • Nudity, even partial
  • Graphic violence or gore
  • Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
  • Drug/illicit substance promotion

Violations are removed immediately and may result in permanent bans.

06

Respect Privacy

Don't share other people's personal info (name, photos, address, contact) without their consent — even if you found it elsewhere.

At offline meetups, ask before taking photos. What’s shared in a club stays in the club, unless everyone agrees otherwise.

07

Event Organizer Conduct

If you organize a meetup or club, you set the tone. We expect organizers to:

  • Be honest about the event (location, time, what to expect)
  • Show up on time, or notify attendees promptly if cancelling
  • Create a welcoming, inclusive environment
  • Handle conflicts maturely
  • Report harmful behavior to BeSocialz support
08

Reporting Issues

If something feels wrong — a creepy DM, a no-show organizer, harassment at a meetup — please tell us.

  • In-app: Tap the Report button on any profile, post, message, or event
  • Email: support@besocialz.com
  • Emergency: Contact local law enforcement (in India: dial 112)

We review every report. Reporters' identities are kept confidential to the extent possible.

09

Consequences for Violations

Depending on severity, violations may result in:

  • Warning — first or minor violation
  • Content removal — specific posts/photos taken down
  • Temporary suspension — repeated minor violations
  • Permanent ban — serious or repeated violations
  • Report to law enforcement — illegal activity, safety threats, child safety violations
The Short Version

Be the kind of person you'd actually want to meet at a real-world event. Real. Respectful. Present.
